We are absolutely delighted to announce this morning that we have received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service!
Dunfermline Advocacy is one of 187 charities, social enterprises and voluntary groups to receive the prestigious award this year.
The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service is the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK to recognise outstanding work in their communities.
Our Chief Executive, Rachel Annand, is delighted for the organisation and said this morning ” This is a fantastic achievement for Dunfermline Advocacy and everyone involved- The Board of Trustees who volunteer their time to govern DA, the Staff Team who are fully committed to providing exceptional high quality support to our volunteer Citizen Advocates, and most importantly the people in West Fife who give freely of their time as Citizen Advocates.”
The list of all organisations receiving the Award can be found athttps://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/issue/61244/supplement/1 and we send our congratulations to Furniture Plus, the other Fife charity who received the Award this year.
