Citizen Advocacy in the Community: Friendship Changing Lives Project
Dunfermline Advocacy has an exciting opportunity to join our Team in 2019, and to support our work developing our new Citizen Advocacy in the Community: Friendship Changing Lives Project.
Dunfermline Advocacy is delighted to have been awarded funding to support vulnerable adults and older people in West Fife who are experiencing loneliness and isolation.
We are seeking a new Development Worker who will be responsible for recruiting local volunteers. The Worker will then be facilitating and supporting ordinary connections and friendships between vulnerable people and local people, aiming to build sustainable long-term friendships that change lives.
The post is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund for 3 years.
