As election fever grips the nation, we are asking you to cast a vote of a different kind in order to change the lives of vulnerable adults living in West Fife.
Dunfermline Advocacy is in the running to receive funding from the Aviva Community Fund – but only if it receives enough votes.
If successful, we will be able to recruit a part-time Development Worker to support more people in communities across West Fife who are affected by disability, mental illness, learning disability or dementia.
Elyse Kirkham, the Fundraising and Events Officer, said “for many people their Citizen Advocate is the only person not paid to be in their life and here the impact of having a friend cannot be overstated.”
“I urge as many people as possible to support our great cause. To vote please go to https://community-fund.aviva.co.uk/voting/Project/View/773. Everyone can vote 10 times!”
